honest question to yall for discussion sake;

what makes Spence P4P top 5 when his best wins are Kell Brook (KO) and going 12 rounds with Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia

I think his resume + "what have you done for me lately" gets him there

Lopez has a great win in Loma and a good one in Commey, I still went with Spence's more extensive body of work.
Taylor cleaned out 140 something Spence hasn't done with his own weight division but looking at the competition Spence has the better resume. Brook, Porter and Swift over Postol, Prograis, Ramirez imo even if not by that much. Spence is also around longer than Taylor and Teo.

Estrada has had a great career, he's a top 10 for sure but many argue he should have lost his last fight even though it officially accounts as a W.

Bud's resume is somewhat lacking but he's so consistently dominant against good but not great opposition (7-8 years already) that it worth a high spot imo, considering his achievements too, in 3 divisions, 2 of them in which he became lineal champion and one of them in which he became undisputed as well.

not one mention of taylor...who actually cleared out his division and took numerous zeroes..this is the shyt why that p4p thread went south because nikkas thought spence was p4p number 2 :rudy:

spence should not be in any top 5 p4p discussion...especially now!!!

Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter are very good fighters, I hope you’re not using that as a slight. Who do you think has a more deserving spot than Spence?
I would argue both Taylor and Teo over Spence imo

Taylor did clear the best in his division .. and some of the names he cleared were undefeated .. hope you don't take it as a slight but technically Porter and Danny are Keith's leftovers ..

Teo beat the man everybody was raving was the P4P in Loma , once upon a time boxing pundits said if you beat a P4P king that makes you the new P4P king .

I still wanna see him fight Haney , Tank , or Ryan before he solidifies that #5 position tho

- the other 4 would be Canelo, Usyk, Crawford, Inoue in whatever order
