I like Chris. He's got a good presence and knows how to handle the roles he's given. I'd love to see him as the new Indy
He might pull it off but he's just a bit too goofy for that role. Harrison Ford had the perfect balance. This guy is funny, but I don't see any grit in him.

He's very down to earth and has great comedy skills. Also, he doesn't have a big ass ego like most of these so called Superstar actors. I hope he's around for a long time. I can see him getting better and better with each role until he finally does dramas and gets that oscar nom. He came a looong way from Andy on Parks and Rec. He can't lose right now.

He's a more tolerable Ryan Reynolds basically. I can stomach his act for the most part but they shouldn't have him dancing in guardians again, those 2 scenes where star lord busts a move were infuriating to watch

The new cgi'd filled Indy won't have any grit it will just be family friendly adventure most likely

Give Pratt all the credit for the 4th movie in a 22 year old franchise, brehs

I'm interested to see how passengers performs with him and j law. I'll peep cuz im a fan

I don't give him all the credit, but like Paul Walker dying gave F7 that extra box office boost, so did Chris Pratt's star power boost JW even further than anyone would've ever imagined.

Hes good as far as being the standard heroic lead in a hollywood blockbuster. Hell of a lot better than Sam Worthington and a bunch of other cacs hoollywood been trying to push over the past few years. Acting wise hes one note as hell tho. Plays the same character in every damn movie :russ:. Def wouldnt pick him for any serious role but he knows his lane :yeshrug:

I told ya'll in the Jurassic World thread the man is one of the biggest stars in movies today, but did ya'll listen? Of course not. Now that movie is exceeding all expectations, exactly like every other single movie that Chris Pratt has headlined in the last two years has. If that ain't star power, I don't know what is.

But but but when will he do a non-franchise movie @TheGodling? But but but nothing @FlyRy you whiny infidel!
I think he's the first "movie star" we've had in many years. By that I mean a Tom Cruise, Denzel, Tom Hanks, Will Smith type. People will go to the movies to see him. Just need to see him in a drama at some point.

This.

He's what Ryan Reynolds should have been.

I think he's dope he brings a certain likeability and charisma to the roles he's played so far and that goes a long way look at the other boys they tried to push Sam Worthington, Taylor Kitsch etc. were bland on screen charisma and likeability are some of the main traits needed to make box office stars. If he continues to pick good roles he'll have a good career going.
