lol, I'm not the blackest poster :dead:

There are posters more dedicated than I am to the cause. What does blackest even mean?. I'm not, by shade or mindset.

And your ignorant to keep saying people are claiming blacks can't be successful without white people. You know that's not what is said.

You care about the few who make it. Before you said your mindset was elitest. plus u hype up western imperalism. So I just assumed you couldn't care about the masses.

yeah but you try to front like you are

its all right there in this thread where you and others wrote essays explaining why black people need white people

its all right there in this thread where you had an aneurysm when i suggested black people can be successful without white people

im not making anything up

and my whole point is to discuss people who didnt make it and how we develop black communities, i have no idea how you get oprah and jay-z from that

and i thought that you were african american and didnt care about foreigners, whats wrong with western imperialism how does it effect you? ...........oh wait you're a muslim, so you are up here crying like a bytch cuz white people are oppressing your terrorist muslim brothers meanwhile making threads how you have nothing in common with africans and caribbeans, foh

meaning the negative aspects of our culture. lol.
You said "almost every aspect of our culture," though. Are you really saying that "black culture" (whatever that monolithic shyt is) is really that terrible? The statement smacks of self-hatred and cynicism.

not entirely. By "almost every aspect of our culture" I meant those elements that are most pervasive. And unfortunately the most pervasive elements of our culture are detrimental to our advancement. The laziness towards education, excessive materialism, thug/hood mentality, etc. MUST go BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. It's the only way towards progress. These traits which don't exclusively define whom we are as a people have become negative elements that have gone unchecked due to a lack of leadership and negligence.

exactly, and liberalism says that these things should not be talked about and they can be fixed through government programs and black leadership and a lot of black people swear on liberalism

the notion that black people can fix these problems ourselves is unfathomable to them

It's a way to keep blacks from helping themselves. Reliance on the State is a death trap and many of us don't see it. Liberalism has rendered us docile and intellectually lazy. And because of this we've allowed our communities to become warzones and a goldmines for foreigners and immigrants to develop their monopolies. It is absolutely insane for an entire community inhabited by mostly blacks to be under the economic occupation of people who don't even live there. But it's just another facet of liberal policies.

a people that vote more than 90% for the same political party election year after election year. A people who have notoriously low turn out in midterm elections. A people who repeatedly vote politicians in who do ABSOLUTELY nothing for them. These characteristics are indicative of a people who are politically mute and dumb.

A republican led house established itself as the least productive lawmaking congress in our nation's history. White people literally voted for a collection of fools who are "doing nothing for them", and have propped up simple-minded bomb throwers like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Steve King, Louie Gohmert, ext as representatives of their views.

Bill Clinton alone created more jobs in his admin than the last 4 republican presidents combined, and the claim that democrats have done nothing for black people is a far more ignorant statement than the black voting patterns you are attempting to deride. Democrats promote inclusive rhetoric that speaks to black people's self interest, and have created a black coalition for reason. I establish this to say that black people overwhelmingly voting democrat is not born out of ignorance, and is a perfectly well reasoned vote. Your claim makes it seem as tho there are far superior candidates that black people are ignoring --- so what are republicans going to do for black people, that all of us are missing out on? What are the alternatives to the democratic party?

All minorities overwhelmingly vote democrat. Are you prepared to insult them as well?

1. Culture is not monolithic among black people or anyone else. Every black person didn't grow up with the same culture. You sound like some racist redneck talking about "lazy, materialism, thug hood mentality" as being the most pervasive elements of "our" culture. Black college enrollment and graduation has risen over the past quarter century despite an ever-more bleak economic structure. My culture and the culture of my friends, families and peers is not lazy, materialistic, thug/hood. I lived in one of the largest exclusively black suburbs in the country when I was a kid, and sure there were some negative and criminal elements, but overall it was good people and a good community just working hard and trying to live, not a bunch of lazy, materialistic thugs. Speak for yourself.

2. I'm not responsible for those black people who for whatever reason are not productive citizens and have maladaptive mentalities any more so than the average white person is responsible for white people who are that way.

3. These negative elements you speak of have not gone unchecked due to lack of "leadership." They are an aggregation of states of being, thoughts, emotions, and actions that stem largely from social neglect and deprivation, economics, and structural, systemic racism. It's insulting and erroneous to suggest that somehow black people collectively at fault for the worst among their race, while tacitly giving a pass to injustices that fostered those ills.

this video is really good but i think it also applies to politics and economics not just writing, as can be seen in this thread black people have trouble visualizing politics and economics without white people, learning how to visualize things and doing things simply because is part of freeing yourself from mental slavery
