I fed like in those states you can go days to weeks without seeing another person. Same for Alaska

And those random states you forget exist.

What is there to do? Anyone live there?
The Big Sky states have beautiful vistas, Vermont has that too during the fall and winter sports, they really just outdoor states

I live in Vermont in a small ass town. Im from Brooklyn. Long story short my girl had a career opportunity here, I was between jobs and wound up finding something here before I found something in NYC and I dipped.

There's not a fukking thing to do unless you're driving over to Burlington (which is pretty dope actually), or find a shopping center. I was 32 when I moved and im 36 now, hitting that old man status. I got married and have a kid. So truth be told the calmer energy works better for me than some now. Its chill. Im chill. Im good.

But its real rural and real quaint and shyt. And after 10 it pretty much dies.

How are you going to raise kids in that type of environment?

In what type of environment? A chill rural one? I have a stepson in addition to my kid. The little breh is 7. And hes fine. "Nothing to do" really applies to night life and shyt that appeals to adults. As a kid he goes outside and has a ball, chills with the neighbors, rides his bike and shyt. There's a lot of little festivals and community events for the kids. Drive ins and carnivals. So he's aiight.

If you're asking in regards to diversity, that CAN be worrisome. Theres a lot of white people. Mostly the liberal kind, though out in the sticks you do get some proud MAGA folks amongst that crowd.

I hope to move back in the direction of a major city in the next few years, before my toddler comes of age. Though I never see myself living IN a major city again. I love my city, but the peace is dope and money stretches MUCH further in terms of living space and taking care of family out here.
