What is the WORST thing Marvel could do with the MCU X-men reboot?

Everyone's talking about how the X-men could be brought into the MCU... but how could they potentially mess it up?

(If the MCU X-men somehow ends up being trash like the Star Wars sequels...)

I wouldn’t mind seeing Krakoa used, far better to differentiate than doing the same thing as before.

Not starting out with the OG 5 first. Scott, Jean, Warren, Bobby and Hank. Not introducing Wolverine as a hulk villain first. Not introducing Mystique and Rogue as Captain Marvel villains. Not having Storm at least be a minor character in the Wakanda vs Atlantis war. Trying to remove the holocaust from Magentos origin.

Worst outcome - focusing on mystique
Most pointless outcome - phoenix arc AGAIN
Most likely outcome - nerfing the xmen to prop up the avengers (which bendis absolutely did in the 00s)

I don’t care about him having grey/white hair but at minimum he should look it be around the ago of Timothy Olphant (or whatever his name is)

No one cares about the O5 as a unit
Warren is best with Betsy, and as Archang
Scott is best when playing off Logan, or Emma

And the team most people remember is the 90s

Focusing on Dazzler would DEFINITELY be a bad move, lol.
I think they could pull off making Kitty Pryde a main character though. She's actually really important to a lot of the best stories in the comics.
(Days of Future Past, God Loves, Man Kills, Astonishing X-men, etc.)

People don't put enough respect on Kitty's name since she never appeared in the 90s cartoon.

The 90's cartoon is possibly the most important X-Men media responsible for creating today's fans. Obviously we have the comics that date back to the 60's, but the cartoon was a massive influence.

No, spider man carried marvel on his back and still continues to do so. People only care about a handfull of xmen which is why fox was able to get away with what it did in bushing the o5 and making a primary antagonist the face of the team that not even product synergy at marvel comics could make work

The public at large didn't care about most of the Avengers until the MCU came out

Literally no one at school was talking about Captain America or Thor.

Saying FOX made shytty movies doesn't mean no one cared about the X-Men that were being promoted at the time

Fukking Ant-Man has a movie

And saying X-Men didn't help carry Marvel proves you wasn't there, or are just arguing to argue
