Dont sound like Rock trying to force someone to turn behind the scenes..thats more of a Cripple H/Vince...the Rock will compromise and be reasonable to make big money as a final result. This internet obsession with wanting him to be trying to bury Cody for two years is odd and off the hook...lol.The story given is that Rock was legit pushing for Cody to turn and join. HHH and Cody didn't want to do it, but ultimately Nick Khan deferred to Rock. HHH and Cody still thought it was a bad idea, and so HHH basically told Cody to just refuse.
They then approached Cena about it and he was fine with it. This sounds believable to me. Cody turning would've been a waste of their most over pure babyface in a long time and the guy they ended Roman's title reign for.
I get why Rock would want to do it, it would've put the Final Boss over even more and if he wrestled Cody or Roman WWE is not gonna want Rock to go over.
Sounds like Temu Death Ridersthey chose to go a direct direction with Cena wanting to ruin wrestling and retire the belt.
He's smart enough to not say anything if he doesn't have positive news to give fans. Just let them speculate until he shows up again and then he'll adapt to how the crowd reacts to him, which is what he does better than anyone.I just can't see the rock not mentioning WrestleMania at all on IG (insert chest day, taramana, WrestleMania on TV post circa 539,093) or making a clarifying post given how media conscious he is of there wasn't something going on.
