What is the rumor with the Rock not being involved?

They would of advertised the Rock being there...they had issues selling tickets. If youi let yourself believe he was gonna be there....it's on you, right? I knew he wasn't gonna be there by just his Instagram.....Cena barely brings him up....they just had a bad WM. Yes...Bianca, Iyo, and Rhea worked REALLY HARD and stood out...one of the best WM matches ever to me but the rest of the show was hard to watch. Dominick having that moment was good too since he's always in a heel role. I haven't seen 90% of the Liv/Becky tag match yet but I'll get to it. Guess it don't matter after the spoiler I saw for tonight.
My thing is...Rock did his job last year. It's up to Seth, Cody, the Rebel, Drew to step it up. I knew WM would be lackluster without him and low and behold...it was.

That match was trash wrestling included, what could’ve saved that match was a cohesive story. If Dwayne wasn’t gonna be there why have Travis there. Cena didn’t mention him once post EC. How can Cody, Cena, or HHH tell a story if Dwayne cherry picks when he wants to be in or out?
Side thought it really feels like everyone is getting pulled away from the UHWC so they don’t get this Rock stench on em. Except for Bondage Undertaker he sucks, let em be in the mix for that.
Im pissed because that shyt not ever happening now. Them weak ass Cody stans ruined something legendary. They not even stans they just wanted to reject what the WWE wanted
If they had brought him up..it would of been effective..they chose to go a direct direction with Cena wanting to ruin wrestling and retire the belt.

If old ass Cena can’t have a good singles match, and we all saw Rock/Cena over a decade ago happen where Rock was gassed up early in one of those matches (maybe both?), Rock/Roman would get the same reaction like Cody/Cena.

It's clear they didnt explicitly state the Rock wasn't gonna be at the show because they wanted to bait more ticket sales. WWE left it ambiguous on purpose.
If you're most casual watcher that doesn't watch or consume anything extra aside from the actual shows (not combing dude's IG for clues or reading dirtsheet what if's from Meltzer): Just off seeing Elimination Chamber, I would assume both Travis Scott and Rock would be at the biggest show to try to meddle in Cody's plans again and further solidate the Cena alignment. The storyline of the past 2 years called for it. (For Cena their storyline dates all the way to Bad Blood when Rock made an unannounced appearance at the end and threw up Cena's sign.)
Will be interesting to see what he says tomorrow, he's not afraid to acknowledge backlash when it arises.
