great year. WAY TOO MUCH was going on in '98. i followed that year extremely closely and still had mad trouble keeping up. and the singles were just off the charts. i think that it should definitely be a nominee.
the entire late '90s gets unfairly brushed off in hindsight because of the era that proceeded it.
matter fact, its the 2nd most underrated year in my book, after '93.
