Ya if I recall correctly right before that was a part where you had to fight all those splicers in the dark pretty much. Like the lights kept flickering on and off and waves of them were coming in the room.

The OG resident evil. It may not be the all time scariest but it scared me the most. A combination of me being young, and that being the first truly scary game I ever played
