Wrestling is beautiful because everyone watches for different reasons, so I definitely see a few different answers here.

I personally would go with 90's All Japan or Attitude Era ('98-'01).

A lot of people believe that the current NJPW run is one of the best ever.

• Before LU there was Chikara which embraced the whole Saturday morning wrestling aspect
• Gave us some of the best storylines and feuds

• A refreshing take on Indy wrestling beyond the ultra violence/MMA bullshyt of other promotions

• The hottest promotion right now
• Meltz stars for almost every match
• Wrestle Kingdom forever being Event of the Year
• G1 being a modern day Mortal Kombat tournament
