It honestly depends because comic books and films are very different something like watchmen or TDKR or kingdom come which is 12 is closer to a film it is more contained while something like Claremont’s x-men run is closer to a tv series. I mean the Phoenix/dark Phoenix saga would stand against anything written by anyone anywhere.
