Being too reserved and complacent

Not talking to this girl that girl, not hanging out Just chilling, going to parties

I'm only 19 tho so I got my age going for me :francis:

So you're not in your 20's yet, and mentioned nothing financial.

These aren't the mistakes this thread is for.

Taking out student loans.

I'm really good with not spending money. I'd literally spend it on the bare minimum ie clothes a handful of times a year, emergencies etc.

I used to not eat out at all, that's when I saved a lot. I need to get back to that lifestyle and stick to eating home cooked meals and eat out maybe once or twice a month.

Oh and not working over the summer during college. Could have racked up a lot of money and not have to worry about student loan debt cause I would have made enough to pay that sh off all at once.

Going to grad school. I was debt free coming out of undergrad, but I thought it would make me more marketable with a Masters:francis:
So basically you are more educated and owe what 40K in loans if that if you did your Masters? Don't know what you majored in but an MBA always gets looks. Glad I got mine. But I'm paying way more because I didn't get my undergrad free.

Wherever whores go.....
Not matter what
No matter how much you spend
Not matter how much you make
So these three things atleast

Save something each week/month
Even $100 a month is $1200 a year
In 10 years that 12K in cash

Keep your debts and monthly payments as low as possible

Credit score 700 or higher

Even if you 30+
A few thousand and no debt will put you in a much better position than 70% of the US

Too many to name. Cars that didn't work, not taking care of credit. I have student loans, but I don't consider them a mistake at the moment. I've been broke most of my 20's. Overall, I just wish I had reliable income in my 20's.

Not applying myself to my dreams harder/sooner and not being studious like I should've been. I guess not really financial but paths that led to subpar finances.

I'm still my early 20's though...the sand grains still in tact for now
