A team that got swept in the finals is one of the best to never win it?

Dude, they had home court advantage, swept Houston in the regular season, and was a couple of missed FTs from winning game one. Losing that game changed the tide of the whole series.

The Reggie Miller Pacers

the pacers the year of the malice at the palace was championship material, they played hard, had insane defense, and were grimey as fk and unstoppable

miller

artest

jermain o neal

s. jackson

:damn: grimey ass mofos couldnt keep it together :snoop:

theres some great quotes regarding the riot, but the best is artest immediately after the brawl and ensuing riot.

artest to his teammates: "guys, you think we're gon get in trouble for this?"

teammates: :what::snoop:

That kings team got fukked over. They were clearly the best team in the NBA and when they were finally ready to beat the Lakers the refs were in the middle of fixing games.

Btw @ Gizzle, there was no NBA champion in 2006 in my eyes. That was fixed.

Yeah, let's pretend games 2, 3 and 5 didn't happen. :what:

No one was saying shyt when the Kings were getting the benefit of the whistle. Look at the ft disparity in those games. But the one game where the Lakers got the calls "its a fix".

fukk outta here nikka.

Early 90s Blazers, 96 Sonics, 00 Blazers, 02 Kings

this answer along with pacers somewhere in 98 if they didn't play the bulls,if Jonathan bender who supposed to be Kevin Durant before Kevin Durant had stayed healthy and if that brawl in Detroit never happened that franchise would have won at least one championship during that 7 year span.

One of the reasons I think the NBA was on some shady shyt in the early to mid late 2000's

the '06 Finals was grotesque. The birth of D Whistle.

The 2002 Sac Kings.....it's a damn shame what happened to them:scusthov::snoop:

And the 2007 Western Conference Semi's between the Suns and the Spurs.Particularly game 3.Donaghy just so happened to be reffing that game:comeon:

On the low low, the '93 WCF between the Suns and the Sonics.GM 7.....the Suns went to the free throw line like 28 times in the 4th quarter:huhldup:
