Due to various circumstances I must now consume Chinese food a couple of times a week for the next couple of weeks.

What dishes are prepared with the best quality that you could possibly get from a takeout restaurant in your experience? NYers especially encouraged to reply because our takeout scene is different. Thanks

My go to is Sesame chicken w/ shrimp fried rice, and extra duck sauce. :blessed:

But I wouldn't be bold with Chinese food if I was outside of the NY/NJ area, or somewhere with a good Chinese food rep.

I'd just stick to chicken wings, spare ribs, and stuff like that if the Chinese food scene isn't strong in your area. That would be the safe move.

Depends on the restuarant. Some chinese restuarants use different oils and ingredients to cook the same menu item.

That shyt ain't food :stopitslime:

They serve that to anybody that don't know better :whoa:

Take your mans that speak Cantonese to order what they do for themselves :whew:

Real chinese food involves animal organs and unless it's grass fed nope - Even then I'm not interested I barely can tolerate liver even though it is very good for you (once in a while)

They eat too many parts of the animal that are weird as fukk like eyes, nose ears and shyt. I'm like I don't think there's any nutrition in that except fukking collagen and cartilage.

I used to stick with dishes like Mapo Tofu which is quite close to the real thing. Maybe I should stick to a vegetable focused dish with Tofu.
