This is unfair.The entire appeal is because it was something that became popular outside of the realm of WWE so even after Styles and Finn left and Kenny kinda doin his own thing, it's still a sacred cow that neckbeards want to protect as "theirs"..
They see it as an "us vs. them" thing with WWE so the t-shirt and "too sweeting" each other shyt is their bro code, it makes them feel a part of something and "cool" because WWE is not "cool" anymore.
They are the type of fan to pay top dollar for front row tickets to SummerSlam and then chant idiotic things and pretend they got one over on Vince.
All that said, I fukk with Kenny Omega because he's actually a great wrestler and can be funny
NJPW is and has been better than WWE for a minute now. I think the only thing WWE has it beat in is presentation.
Roman Reigns is only over with die-hard WWE fans. They have bungled the Women's Division. They signed the Hardy's because they were getting over elsewhere, and then tried to force Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt together.
Cokeboy is thirsting to sign the Bucks and Kenny Omega, only when he does sign them, it will be exactly like Gallows and Anderson: sign em because they're hot as fukk (for a reason) over "there", only to bring them over here, underuse them and then wonder why the fans are booing them or disinterested. Meanwhile, the competition loses a clear and present threat.

This is probably the reason why you won't see the Bucks, Omega, or Cody Rhodes go back anytime soon. Given the creative freedom they currently have, merch sales with Hot Topic, the fact they are just starting to sell out 10,000+ seat arenas, and that their invitations to the Larry Holmes Gardens are still several years away, I don't foresee these guys going over there anytime soon.
