I seen folks comparing this faction to the NWO but I didntt see any of these guys having that swagger of Hall and Nash and I looked at guys like the Young Bucks as scrawny guys trying to be cool so I dismissed them. But since they selling out MSG, They must be doing something right.

I'm now curious to see what the appeal is with these guys?. I haven't caught much of NJPW, ROH or any of the indie shyt because I can't speak Japanese or see ROH on any syndicate. So guys put me up on game on whats appealing about these cats. Key matches, promos, interviews. etc.

the nWo comparison was closer during their earlier days, but only for the reason they were both well liked heel stables. Now they are just a cool bunch of indie North American faces that know how to promote themselves.

Here is a short video about how Finn Balor formed the Bullet Club:

Here is a run-down of Styles' tenure:

After that, there's really nothing notable except for the streak of good matches Kenny put on, including the quartet of bouts with Okada. Cody is the closest you'll get to someone working a typical oldschool heavyweight style like Nash and Hall, but as a whole they wrestle like lightweights.

Watch "Being the Elite" on youtube, to see some of the creativity they are bringing to the game on a low budget. You should be able to appreciate that at least.

They make trendy XXL shirts that all of the fat neckbeards can fit :mjlol:

Naw forreal I think the real/casual appeal is that it’s a way for wrestling fans to pretend to be “Elite” and distinguish themselves by saying they watch more/like more than just American wrestling. It’s a gateway drug into NJPW

That last lil bit is 100% accurate for me...BTE lead me to watching Kenny's series with okada, and from there I actually probably watch more actual in ring shyt from NJPW on axs TV than raw..

Me and my homeboys go to Mania every year...now I gotta somehow convince them to go to the MSG NJPW/ROH show instead of Takeover on Saturday

are you a skinny white kid that drops the hard r on twitch streams? are you an aging guido whose body type can best be described as donkey kong-like? are you a chubby spanish teenager that really likes neon genesis evangelion? do you have a beard that doesn't connect but still want to look like you might have hands? then i've got a shirt for you!

  • They are a Digimon breed between a wild NWO flunkie and a tame Xpac
  • Their merchandise is safe to wear (doesn't look corny like a typical t shirt)
  • They turned NJPW into easy mode for neckbeards to be like "OMGZ NJPW IS NOT FOR KIDDIES LIKE WWE LOLZ"
Once you look passed these three bullets, they are just a stale stable that gets worse as the year goes by.
