What is the apex land predator/animal? Who'd come out on top

Basically what I'm saying is, in a mano a mano, which large predator would come out on top?

Just depends on who gets the drop on who, I will say it's between the Bear and Tiger though as they are solitary hunters to begin with.

Tiger winning almost every time. The size/speed combo is too much. I dont think a tiger can penetrate a bear hide frequently enough to kill it. Imagine how much force goes behind a polar bear swipe- and they're smart, stealthy hunters as well.


Can tigers or lions fukk up the best of the non predators though? Like A silverback gorilla or an elephant

I don't know about gorillas...I would guess a tiger or lion would probably take down a gorilla.

Lions steer clear of elephants unless they're in a pack, and even then I think it's highly unlikely that they take one down unless it's a young one. A single lion is not crazy enough to fukk with an elephant.

Nah breh, there's a national geographic special called Ultimate Enemies, there was a lone male lion that literally jumped out of a damn tree onto the back of a bull male Elephant. The rest of the pride attacked after that, but that Lion was a damn G and was chewing on the elephants spine while it desperately tried to shake him loose.

The pride that Lion came from specialized in taking down adult elephants.

Now an interesting one is Tiger vs. Gorilla. I would be loathe to bet against a silverback gorilla against any animal. The polar bear and elephant could take it maybe just on sheer size advantage and similarity of attack, but tell me that a tiger aint 50/50 with this:

I think a Tiger would murk one with ease, Leopards have been known to kill them, and Tigers are massive by comparison. The thing with a fight between the two is the fact the Gorilla only has strength and jaws on it's side, while the big cat has strength, jaws and those nasty claws. The second they get wrapped up the Tiger does what a housecat does and starts kicking it's hind legs trying to disembowel.

Male tigers can get up to about 700lbs, they are no joke.

wow can you read? he just said a LONE one would try it. he knew the pack was ready to pounce(Jump dat fool) as soon as it went down.
