What is so wack about Summer On Smash?

Nas never gets the best from dude, no reason to ever work with him again. Swizz saves the best shyt for Jay, and is usually a crap shoot with everyone else

Nothing's wrong with it. Gotta have that one fun, party song and it works perfectly. A nice break. I like how it's right in the middle of the album.

But nah, anything Swizz Beatz related usually gets shytted on here...

Granted, Swizz is a constantly hit-and-miss nikka, but this one's a hit.

I like it, it serves it's purpose. The track I really care nothing for is "Reach Out". Probably cause i don't care for Mary J anymore and wish it was an up and coming female singer

The hook is cringeworthy.. Anyone on here could have told you before it leaked that it would just be him repeating the words 'summer on smash' in that awkward voice of his. The beat and hook just don't fit the content of the words 'summer on smash'. You're supposed to come with something epic if you use terms like that, not some throwaway sound that's been done millions of times already..

The hook is terrible. I dont think the beat is as bad as some are making it out to be but the song doesnt fit the album and sounds forced.

Also, Miguel went in on this song. His part was real good. I just like the vibe of the song in general.

I think it fits perfectly with the theme "Life is Good"...a newly single man scooping some honeys in the summertime. The beat just bangs, Miguel's role is good on it and Nas' flow is perfect.
