The beat can make or break a song, be the difference between a song being "good" versus "great." The heads will of course say lyrics, but this is music.

beats can save a song with poor lyrics more so than a song with great lyrics can save a song with a bad beat

thats what i came to say cause man i love a ***** spitting and would still listen if the beat is trash but i could listen to a wack *** song also if it has a hot beat might not put it in top anything but still will listen
