I think a lot of that is just because his body is in transition right now. He knows that the days of barreling towards the rim at 100 mph are coming to a close, so he's doing it less and less often (saving it for crucial moments like in the hawks game today)...I think he's still getting acclimated to his new baseline of basketball shape. TBH I think he's shooting all those iso jumpers because he's realizing he will need to rely way more on that shot as he ages, so he's always practicing it in in-game conditions (but if you notice he tries to do it more only when the game is either close or the cavs are comfortably ahead...he won't dare try that iso joe deep 2 point shot fukkery if they're losing by a decent amount)

Yeah he is conserving his energy. All the greats do this as they get older (Kobe, MJ). He has to shoot more jumpers because driving takes energy out of you.

You realize how much basketball dis mufukka has played in da past 4-5 years? nikka is a beast but dat amount of physical endurance n punishment has its effects. :francis:

I think this is what it really is. The dude been on one hell of a run and it isn't like Kobe who after Shaq was out of the playoffs one year and getting knocked out the first round year after year. Plus he isn't pulling an MJ where he is retiring for damn near two years.

LeBron has never played all 82 regular season games. Plus he's had "rest games" later on in his career.

Watching DeMarre Carroll get hurt tonight and be out, when just a little before that Bron fukked his ankle and came back like 2 mins later really got me thinking...I've seen this nikka hurt a handful of times in my career, only maybe once or twice did I ever fear he was "seriously" hurt, and no matter what happens he's back on the court 60 fuking seconds later.

It's to the point where I could watch this nikka collapse on the court from cardiac arrest with both is legs snapped in two and I'd still be confident that after a trip to the locker room he's back in the game.

It's not like this dude has an injury-sparing playestyle either. 75% of his game is driving full speed to the basket and barreling over defenders while trying to make acrobatic, risky layups. The same kind that took Rose out the league for like 3 years.

WTF does this dude know that the rest of the NBA doesn't?

A few years back Jigga turned Bron Bron onto Rabbi Pinto and the Kabbalah.

lol, which would be explain a lot of it weren't for the fact that this nikka has been to 4 straight NBA finals, possibly his 5th, and after his first win in 2012 went on to play international ball all Summer.

No back to backs in the playoffs or FIBA. But my point was he has been hurt multiple times. Just fortunate that none of his injuries were serious.

Karl Malone never got hurt either (not until he was 40), Bron could be an illegitimate kid of his.
