Actually you understand no more than me nor anyone else here. You've admitted to as much already. I asked you what created god and you said its beyond our understanding. If god = how the universe came to be (a concept which is currently beyond our understanding), then this post makes no sense. It's impossible to harden my heart towards something I have no understanding of.

Being thankful to be alive is one thing. Pretty sure most of us are. But worshipping something you have no understanding of makes no sense. At one point in time we didn't understand human biology or know anything about cells or pathogens. As you put it, it was "above our paygrade." Now imagine where we'd be today if everyone thought as you did and decided to worship the human body instead of trying to understand how it works. It is you who is hardening your heart.....towards humanity's natural drive to increase knowledge.
