I beat Stone Cold every single time I ever faced him :blessed:

Proves what a mark he is.

And it's not even true. He lost to Austin by DQ at IYH: Revenge of the Taker and got stretchered out of the arena after Austin beat his ass in a street fight the next night. Bret is definitely the biggest mark for himself I've ever seen in this business and that's saying something.

I don't think this one was a great promo at all. He just rambled on and on, not sure what to say just trying to make sure they went off the air before Shawn could superkick him and ruined the whole damn segment.

He made some bullshyt excuses for why he let the show go off the air like "oh I couldn't remember what line I wanted to end it with so I kept rambling till I could remember" LOL then he changed it later to some shyt like "oh my earpiece fell out and I couldn't hear then counting me down in the truck, it was an accident" LMAO. Bullshyt, it's obvious he did that on purpose just so Shawn couldn't get his superkick spot in and Bret could just bury him the whole segment. It was a bullshyt move by Bret and a terrible promo.

Out of the options listed I would have to vote for the heel turn promo the night after WrestleMania 13. Pretty much everything he said was true and his turn was perfectly justified from his characters point of view which always makes heels turns better, IMO.

That one or the promo from the week before after the cage match with Sid would be my choices, both are excellent promos.

Definitely the steel cage. One of the GOAT moments on Raw.

Whichever one he talked about giving the United States and enema, and sticking the hose in Pittsburg

Not a promo, but when Bret and McMahon fight at the announce table in Halifax :wow:

I've said it several times, but 1997 was the greatest year in wrestling history.

It’s called a sense of urgency. If they didn’t put on a good show, they were gonna eventually get put out to pasture, so Vince was forced to let the show be good instead of sabotaging everyone while making the show as bland, corporate, sterile, inorganic, and lifeless as possible in every conceivable manner to amuse himself.
