I beat Stone Cold every single time I ever faced him
"Bret Hart came out for an interview. With no programs to talk about, he mainly talked about his cat. He was becoming target practice, and told Gene Okerlund that those cups (being thrown) are being aimed at him" - The Wrestling Observer Newsletter: December 14, 1998
The promo in the cage is like top-5 Raw endings of all time.
"Frustrated ISN'T THE GODDAMN WORD FOR IT-- THIS IS BULLshyt"
"YOU SCREWED ME, EVERYBODY'S SCREWED ME AND NOBODY DOES A GODDAMN THING ABOUT ABOUT IT"
"NOBODY IN THE BUILDING CARES, NOBODY IN THE DRESSING ROOM CARES, SO MUCH DAMN INJUSTICE AROUND HERE-- I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE"
EVERYBODY KNOWS IT! I KNOW IT! EVERYBODY KNOWS IT! I SHOULD BE THE WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION"
"EVERYBODY KEEPS TURNING A BLIND EYE! YOU KEEP TURNING THE BLIND EYE TO IT! GORILLA MONSOON KEEPS TURNING THE BLIND EYE IT!
"EVERYBODY IN THAT GODDAMN DRESSING ROOM KNOWS THAT I'M THE BEST THERE IS, BEST THERE WAS, AND BEST THERE EVER WILL BE! AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, WELL, TOUGH shyt"
*Austin rambling on the screen and you couldn't even see or hear him because they couldn't afford mics*
*Sid coming down*

What do you think is the best promo Bret Hart ever gave?
2. Bret Hart snaps on RAW (March 17, 1997)
Oh don't get me wrong, the promo was terrible, but it was 'hilariously terrible' So many quotablesI don't think this one was a great promo at all. He just rambled on and on, not sure what to say just trying to make sure they went off the air before Shawn could superkick him and ruined the whole damn segment.
He made some bullshyt excuses for why he let the show go off the air like "oh I couldn't remember what line I wanted to end it with so I kept rambling till I could remember" LOL then he changed it later to some shyt like "oh my earpiece fell out and I couldn't hear then counting me down in the truck, it was an accident" LMAO. Bullshyt, it's obvious he did that on purpose just so Shawn couldn't get his superkick spot in and Bret could just bury him the whole segment. It was a bullshyt move by Bret and a terrible promo.
It’s called a sense of urgency. If they didn’t put on a good show, they were gonna eventually get put out to pasture, so Vince was forced to let the show be good instead of sabotaging everyone while making the show as bland, corporate, sterile, inorganic, and lifeless as possible in every conceivable manner to amuse himself.Damn, going through some of the clips in the thread-- there was definitely something in the WWF water cooler back in 97. shyt was fukkery in the ring and behind the scenes.
