What is Agallah's life story? Breh was making beats for Parrish Smith in the 90s then became a Jim Jones flunky in the 2000s?

I still remember when this fool remixed Kings Disease 1 with his dusty loops and Nas vocals off beat and tried to jack it was better than the original :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

The rumour is he produced all or most of All We Got Iz Us
Co-produced with Fredro. My suspicion is he did some of the programming, and tightened things up. There is footage of Fredro on the SP1200 from that era, and Fredro is back to making great beats the last few years.

had some time so I will post a little insight on Ag since I am probably more familiar with him than most. a few of you may have heard me speak of my brief and limited time in and around the industry so I do have a few stories here and there.

Ag gets saucy or whatever and just talks shyt that can be seen as disrespectful then he usually walks it back and apologizes.

yes, he was almost a 4th member of Onyx (not including Big DS), he ticked off Fredo a few years ago saying something about how they did him and Fredo said they met him and he became close to them for a short period due to them saving him from some Queens nikkas fukking him up.

he met PMD and he already had produced the track that became Rough Rugged and Raw and that and some more songs helped PMD secure a $1m deal.

Sheist who was friends with Jim, wanted to put together a group and they met Ag who they knew was a rapper/producer so they added Un Kasa and put PC together with Ag being the main producer and writer for Sheist.

imo, Ag wasnt taking care of a lot of his business so he always came off as salty because he never became rich. I heard he didnt get paid much from the PC work and they went their separate ways with him and Un Kasa getting in to a vicious exchange of words with Un dissing Ag's deceased mother. As I mentioned before, Ag didnt like the fact that Dipset didnt invite a lot of the Dip affiliates such as Upstage and PC.....yet when they had no more songs to play they pulled out PC Byrdgang on the Versus.

I know its cool to dump on people here and I wouldnt walk around calling Ag a legend but he does have some accomplishments. He is still cool with EPMD (he released an old but still fire single with them a couple years ago), Alchemists credits him as a mentor and learning production from him (they have a dope mixtape together). He produced some songs for Mobb Deep, Onyx, Das Efx, Dipset, Guru, Busta (who he also fired shots at), Cappadonna and a host of others. He was once managed by YZ.

He was cool with Wu and Ghost Files (Ghostface) had two versions, a Bronze Nazareth version and a Propain version (Agallah) and last year RZA put together a group called TWELVE (12 MC's) that if I am not mistaken is a support group to the Wu Tang Saga series and Agallah was one of the chosen members. Wu Tang did a song called The Saga Continues feat Agallah.

He has been signed to a couple of major labels and a few independent labels. I think Jim was a factor and involved in the deals/contracts with Babygrand for PC and Agallah solo releases. Dont think that worked out well. He was with GAME Recordings another deal that went south but the best thing that came out of it was the GTA soundtrack song which when GAME didnt release it, Stretch Armstrong called Ag and asked for a record, Ag put Sean Price on it...this was during the time where P was kinda in musical limbo iirc and Rock had signed a solo deal with Def American (Rick Rubin) and the rest of BCC was kind of fading. That record blew up for them and help P with his resurgence where Ag was producing everything for him and they had a group project they were working on. There are a few songs from this that were released. This is what Rock was talking about on the video that BCC was tight about Ag saying none of them gave a fukk about P and he was the only one looking out for him at the time. P did say this at one point and he even implied that Rock and maybe BCC had left him out there so to speak. I think Rock addressed this after P's death. When they did the BCC compilation, the two Sean Price songs that were already done for the Sean Price/Agallah project were produced by Agallah. the GTA song was also added to the Monkey Bars album in which Ag said Dru Ha never compensated him for it.

Fast forward and posthumously P had verses on Griselda songs and Ag spoke out and said he was disappointed in the family because if P was alive he wouldnt fukk with those dudes and Conway...but especially Benny was on his head. Around this time he got into it with Flee Lord. This is why Rock said nikkas been wanting to put hands and feet on Ag.

I am not surprised that Purple City has put their differences aside to work on a new album. I will check it out as I do all of Ag's projects...which he releases a few projects per year and he has some great features on his projects....some before names started buzzing, like Rome Streetz, Grea8god, to legends like EPMD and Raekwon. He surprisingly comes through with a lot of great features. He has some good mixtapes, if I have to recommend one of the top of my head, check out his mixtape with Alchemist "The Past and Present"

This is just a synopsis to the OP, excuse the structure or chronological order but I just wanted to drop some info here while I had time.
