MATW most cohesive

AEOM best variety of great beats

Killuminati most impressive and creative 'cause of the circumstances under which it was made

i would say 7 day theory for me personally because it was alot of live insturmentation and not alot of sampels were used on that album although they were some.

it was mostly live stuff being played.

I forgot to add that RUSD is easily the best posthumously produced (excluding Killuminati) Pac album and really up there with the best. Still I Rise was mostly flames too.

MATW due to cohesion like somebody else said above

The eerie build up on the intro leading into "if I die tonight" followed by "me against the world" and "so many tears" was a perfect beginning to an album. All the tracks had a mood that perfectly fit the content of Pac's lyrics. It's IMO, Pac's most definitive album and him as his best artistically. It captures Pac at a unique pivotal point in his life; The crossroads between young, idealistic and promising revolutionary, and what would ultimately become the more jaded, paranoid street martyr whose life was plagued with tragedy til his eventual death.

IF 7 day Theory was recorded in 93/94,Id say the end result would sound very much like MATW. Afterall, in my eyes at least, 7DT was Pac coming full circle back to his revolutionary side. Both albums are dark and capture Pac in a transition. to me 7 day theory production is great but not better than MATW. However, Pac was clearly evolving as a technical lyricist as it is evident in most of the work he recorded around the time leading up this this album. He's never been weak lyrically but when the multis and similies starting popping up in his lyrics more, It stood out. Pac at the time of his death had pretty much perfected his style from the standpoint, of presence, flow, voice, and technical nuances etc. Its' scary to think about how good he would have gotten in the next 3-5 years had he lived.

If you look at a lot of the unreleased stuff he recorded in early 96 you'll see he was showing that he could compete with the lyrical dexterity of the east coast rappers, which he always could if you look at his stuff released and otherwise from 88-91, but at a certain point Pac found a flow and style that could connect with more ppl than "lyrical, miracle, shmirical" raps and he perfected it. And thats why ppl from every corner of the globe gravitated towards him, not just ppl from north america or the UK, ultimately thats why he truly is the greatest MC of all time.
