I like this best…The small portions of the beat that actually play out are fire. They should’ve used the draw back part of the beat for a few select portions instead of the whole song. Classic regardless tho.
The drums too
Amateur ears must be clean as a bar of soap if you can't appreciate the dusted out raw excellence. Objectively it's a bad beat.. yes. But the point wasn't for it to be beautiful. It's moments like that that made Clientele what it was. Just them capturing energy and feelings not over thinking shyt.
