Vince aint naive, he knows that. The guy they wanted to win, dr death, lost and I'm pretty sure looking back at it that was a form of punishment for ruining plans. I dont remember them doing one story line or anything with him after he won the tournament. Just fed him to a knock out artist. I think Vince would have legit tossed Tyson some bread to fight him if he some how beat Butterbean. He was going to make sure Bart got knocked off that high horse.
