i haven't heard GFID I just know the stuff Ross usually rocks over...you don't consider so sophisticated a trap beat? :what:

2 trap sounding beats out of 16 songs, why dont u listen to the album first before making assumptions.

i don't want nas rapping over souped up production, once in a while is fine but not for a whole album. nas needs dope minimal production(see the lost tapes)

If Nas rhymed over 911, Hold Me Back, Diced Pinapples, and all those other wack ass beats people would call them the worst songs ever. LIG's production is WAY better than GFID.

Nas wouldn't sound right over a lot of these beats. I wouldn't care to hear Nas over Pirates, So Sophisticated, and definitely not Hold Me Back or 911. The only beat I can say I would love to hear Nas over is Ashamed. It's a matter of preference I guess because I love how the production on LIG fits Nas. I like the production on GFID but these beats are all Ross, not Nas.

Not that I don't agree with you, but you don't think Nas would've MURDERED 3 Kings?

I could see him going in on that beat, no doubt. I was just throwing out a beat that I would like to hear Nas on from that album, but I have no doubt he'd go in on a few of them. I guess I shouldn't have said that was the only want I'd like to hear him over.

this fake-lavish drake/ross atmospheric m-m-maybach tag whoo unhhh era will pass just like the sped-up soul sample, autotune and other eras did

meanwhile LiG isn't going to sound as trapped in a dated sound as these songs are

Very much agree. Would rather Nas rap over beats like Stay, Cherry Wine, and Queens Story than generic "beats of the moment". Ross has a good ear for beats but his content can't take a dope beat and turn it into a classic song....

LOL Nas fans quietly wishing he had Ross beats. The production on LIG is very good, the critique that Nas can't pick good beats is way overdone. He's fine.

SINY!!
Nas+ instrumentals from JUSTICE League, Cardiak, etc= rebirth of that Nas Escobar persona.....which would cause mixed feelings. It would be dope, but it wouldnt feel "authentic"
