These cyclical arguments get tiring
First y’all say democrats pass some type of legislation “for black people”
Then when it is pointed out that it’s legislation for everyone, not specifically for black people, y’all revert to “hypothetically speaking, black people should be the people who benefit the most”
And even that’s not true as been proven over and over again on here.
You’re putting your foot in your mouth. If the majority of people who are “lynched” are black, and this is a bill for black Americans, why continue to practice benign neglect and not acknowledge black people at all in the bill? Your attempt at shilling only makes them look worse.
It’s not an anti-black hate crime bill, it’s an anti-lynching bill with Emmit Till’s name on it.
The disrespect of symbolically naming an anti-lynching bill after till in 2022, meanwhile Carolyn Bryant who had him lynched, died peacefully in her sleep in 2023. No charges.
I just posted the asian hate crime bill that specifically specifies hate crimes against Asians.
“The bill specifies that crimes will be prosecuted as a lynching when
"death or serious bodily injury results from a conspiracy to commit a hate crime”
You see anything in that definition that pertains specifically to hate crimes against black people? Did you even read the bill yourself? You already backtracked on it being a bill for specifically for black people.
