At the end of the show he had like 3 years left on his bid
I looked it up breh. He only had to do the rest of his sentence for parole violation. His peoples copped to all them gunsNah
He was caught in a fukkin house full of weapons while being on parole.
Avon will be an old man when he gets out...

Some of you need to go back and rewatch. There is no way a Slim vs Avon battles pops off. Slim was the ultimate soldier and continually abiding by the rules of the game. Marlo tried to place him in leadership positions at least a couple of times and Slim scoff at it. Dude didn't want to lead, only wanted to be a soldier. If Avon came back he would fall right back in line as the head soldier on Avons team. Only reason he was even fukking with Joe is because Avon was locked up, and Stringer was killed this dismantling the Barksdale team.
Yea but three years of being the boss would likely change him. Nobody's gonna go from being the boss to just stepping aside after doing it that long.
Michael Corleone never wanted to be a boss either
If Slim really doesn't want to be a boss then he won't be a boss during those three years and someone else would step up....and whoever that is ain't stepping aside for Avon.
Did Slim even really become a Boss? I just thought he wanted to get rid of annoying ass Cheese
Mayb he passed over to Fat Face Rick who was Joes second in command

Where does 3 years of being a boss come from? There was no indication such a thing was going to happen. Based on what he has done in the past he'd just become muscle for someone else in the co-op.
My bad I mis read your post. I don't know that he really becomes a boss, I was just responding to the scenario that he did become boss.
This thread. I'm just saying if he did step up, he ain't stepping down for Avon, and if he didn't, whoever did ain't stepping down for Avon.
This thread reminds me of how poorly they ended this magnificent series. Shoulda spent less time on the terrible news plotline and more time properly finishing the series.
I agree with you about the news plot. That was trash. But I need to disagree with you on the rest of it being ended poorly. They brilliantly showed that the system just keeps on chugging forward and does not give one fukk about the people it blesses or destroys (the people we came to love). Drug game keeps on moving without Avon and Marlo, junkie game is doing just fine without Bubs, there is always another corrupt @sshole to become mayor. Giving us any sense of closure or change (outside of the specific characters we followed) would have defeated the purpose of the show.
Agreed. I'm talking about the specific characters. Especially Marlo. I took that as Marlo returned to the game and got killed...But then I came on the internet and the interpretations are all over the place
