I thought the argument was always about his 9 straight finals appearances.

Nah the argument was always that he would never make it through the west. Meaning WCF.... It doesnt make sense to call it the finals when he has 3 rings all beating the WCF champions...

The point was always that he would never make those deep playoff runs if he had to go through the top 8 in the West to get there. And now hes at the WCF which is proving all of that wrong. Especially since he is the 1 seed.

People called portland most dangerous 8 seed and would beat LA, and then Houston a terrible match up for LA and would win. Now when we beat their ass LA was suddenly the favorites. I ain’t forget clippers title favorites by everyone coming into the season
