Because he keeps changing his form.

Actually he fukked his back up the last season in miami. Which messed up his jumper and free throw shooting. You can literally look at his free throw percentages and see how it dropped since then.

He even mentioned how his back was all fukked up in 2015 season and playoffs and how he had to turn to military situps, push ups and etc to strengthen his back and core cause his back was so messed up. Thats also why he changed the release of his jumper.

That stretch in the 4th where Rondo made back-to-back wide open 3s (left open by design) and then pick-pocketed Harden for a layup, that was ball game. Turned a 1 possession game to a double digit lead. Everything after that Rockets were deflated and Lakers became inspired. The balding cac even hit a 3.

The first half was a game changer, HOU was great but couldn't get a cushion because Lebron couldn't miss + some 50/50 bang bang plays that didn't go there way.. i.e. fumbling defensive rebounds and getting blocking calls instead of charges.

Game 4 they have to play with that same energy and precision in the 1st half and win more of those 50/50s. Can't do anything about Rondo making 3s. But Rockets should start their offense sooner. It takes a good 10+ seconds of dribble drives and swing passes to find that wide open person because of how quick LA rotates, so you can't bullshyt around until half the shot clock is gone until you start trying to do something.

That's the first Harden bucket I can remember in this quarter. He needed to takeover when the game was slipping away earlier in the 4th. That's a theme with him in the playoffs. I'm sure he's done it and someone will post an example but I can't recall many times where he carried the Rockets home in the 4th quarter of a postseason game.

Edit: That was his only bucket of the 4th; only three FGs the entire second half. 3-7 from the floor. That can't happen in a half where they only scored 38 points.
@<<TheStandard>>, my bro, Harden ain't it.

Yeah they are a truely win ugly team. But thats why I like watching them. They are almost like a eastern conference team in the west.
Very true....but the shooting still concerns me against a great shooting team. Really would be helpful if Danny Green can hit AT LEAST SOME 3s and play to his contract.

Bron’s blocks weren’t just regular blocks, they all were momentum shifting blocks :wow:

Thing is this kat is two months from 36. And he got 35 points, 5 steals and 5 blocks (chase down and straight up defending the paint blocks) this game.

fukking doing this with a million miles on his body and running the offense for much of the game..:mindblown:

Unfukking believeable.:wtf:

Sometimes Harden plays like he doesn't even wanna be there. Down 10 in the 4th and no urgency slow walking the ball up playing like they are up 10. His body language is terrible. But he could be the best player on the floor at any given moment if he had heart. Westbrook's takes bad shots but at least he is emotionally invested for better or worse. Hard to root for these dudes.

I don't even think it's mental with Harden. With the frequency that this happens I'm certain that dude just doesn't have enough stamina to maintain focus throughout a series.

Thats the thing with danny he is hot and cold. But he had championship experience and will come tbrough when need be.

I just got a lot of faith in LB, Davis, Rondo and the championship/playoffs experience the team has. Along with the coaching experience they have.

Ever since march (and at the start of the season back in October) I been saying the only thing that coul stop this team from winning a championship was covid or a serious injury.

Yeah, the back spasms first came up that least season in Miami. He was more inconsistent that season as he had stretches where he looked better than 2013 Bron but then his back would act up and he'd have to take it easy.

His FT shooting fell off a cliff that first season back with Cleveland and it's gotten worse even as his 3-pointer has become somewhat more reliable.

Miami Bron was an elite mid-range shooter. Hasn't been the same since. But since 2016 he's maximized his ability to get to the rim which was why he's been able to maintain good efficiency (but not Miami level)

Breh I just have no confidence in D'antoni, Morey dumb ass or starting a 6-5 dude at center. Unless you starting prime west unseld I have no confidence a 6-5 dude can be a starting center for a championship team.
