Yes the Lakers don’t have the kind of guards OKC have but they have Lebron and a bunch of 3 & D wings. Rockets were one of the worst rebounding teams in the league so facing a Lakers team with 3 good to elite bigs and Lebron who’s a great rebounder in his own right will cost the Rockets.

But hey I’m a neutral so could care less who wins :yeshrug: just pointing out a clear mismatch that I feel the Lakers will exploit.

Rockets are strong and old. Bigs aren’t the mismatch, post play is not the mismatch.

LeBron is sure but PJ Tucker has handled AD fine over the years, Dwight has no post moved anyway, and neither does JaVale. If they’re throwing it to those two in the post Harden is top 5 post defender in the league over the last 4 years.

3 and D wings are also no big issue. You’re going to let Harden or Ben McLemore stand there with Danny Green all game and be able to execute fine on offense

This one is much easier than the other West series. Much like with POR, much like with pretty much any team, the question is who is guarding Bron and AD? Lakers gonna kill them on the boards. Rockets only chance is shooting lights out 4 times and the Lakers aren't exactly shabby on defense. Lakers in 5. Russ and Harden are gonna have to show me that they deserve more respect than that :manny:.

Thread title could be "King James Ponders Training His Beard or His Brow With Some Rusty Clippers: Rockets @ Lakers In The Bubble"

For the Rockets the danger isn't the Lakers posting up and more the Lakers killing them on the offensive boards. Lakers are much better rebounders than the Thunder and way more mobile than Adams.

Rockets have to win Game 1 to make this a long series. If they don't, it'll be Lakers in 5.

This is your chance Harden :mjpls:

Alot of sins can be erased in this series. The Lakers should win but i still got Houston in 7.

Houston probably gets hot from 3 one game and blows the Lakers out the building but Covington or Tucker guarding AD will be comedy.

Lakers in 5, 6 max.
