The purpose was fans of NFC East teams always talk about their division like they got one of the best in the game. Their excuse for the shytty record is "we got to play the NFC Beast and we all beat eachother" yada yada.

Also The Giants, Eagles and Redskins have been in the league since the beginning. Each team has amazing rivalries against each other. And honest, NFC BEAST games are the best games to watch. So though the Division is only doing OK this year, they are still prime time TV. So continue to hate but they get airplay cause the NFC BEAST is the GOAT DIVISION IN NFL HISTORY.
Yes all of us are inconsistent this year. But the Boys are really the only flat out bad team. Skins are rebuilding and the Eagles will be back on track starting tonight. Giants are DEFENDING Champs.
