They literally had a club setting for this shyt?
How did we go from The Source awards to this type of shyt?

2. budget cuts.. the bigger artists, even B level rappers stopped showing up
3. BET is completely irrelevant as a channel or a platform
4. Even the BET Awards has slowly become ghetto and irrelevant.

same thing that happened to the BET awards, the biggest stars stop coming. It happened to the hip-hop awards at a far faster rate though.

Why can’t we just be honest and say the few big superstars that can draw a crowd just aren’t going to show up to anything but the Grammys and even then they still ain’t showing up unless you give them a big prestigious award
When the superstars stop coming(Beyonce, JayZ, Kanye, Rihanana, 50) so did the masses... But yet these black shows kept on nominating them for awards, I would have never put them nikkas on the column if they not showing up.
I miss The Source Awards because that shyt was so special... Black folks from all forms of entertainment represented.
