If Snoop signed artists like Kendrick, The Game, Crooked, Xzibit and build new talent around these veterans, bring Dre, Storch and the others, then he might create a buzz for people to pay attention - we all saw how big of a wave the Super Bowl performance created.
But with the way HipHop has moved on from that era and became more trap/drill oriented I doubt that any real success is viable.
