Reviving a brand that was hot almost 30 years ago, should prove to be a difficult task.

If Snoop signed artists like Kendrick, The Game, Crooked, Xzibit and build new talent around these veterans, bring Dre, Storch and the others, then he might create a buzz for people to pay attention - we all saw how big of a wave the Super Bowl performance created.

But with the way HipHop has moved on from that era and became more trap/drill oriented I doubt that any real success is viable.

Speaking of Death Row unreleased stuff from '92-'96....was there anything substantial that was released in the last decade? Any Dre or Daz produced stuff? Any Chronic, Doggystyle, Dogg Food leftovers? Particularly interested in anything 92-95, non-Tupac (I've heard almost all his thousands of unreleased stuff back in the late 90s early-00s).

Yea...on a nationwide scale, the west coast is dead af, the G-Funk sounds isn't even something ppl born in the late 90s or early 2000s would recognize.

These nikkas really isn’t true businessmen like they say they are… nikkas can only make records , don’t know how to market or promote artist, build a brand..

That’s like the Lakers trying to put magic, worthy and Kareem out today in their 60s and 70s with these young nikkas.. u already failed at the door

That’s death row

Snoop’s whole approach just shows that he’s very out of touch.

Deathrow’s fanbase is probably 35 and up. These are people with real life responsibilities (job, wife, kids, etc). No one is trying to jump through hoops to find music.
snoop is a whole clown RN, i didn't fukk with Jay trying to do this shyt in 2015 and I def aint fukkin with this exclusive bullshyt in 2022. consumers are on the platforms they're on, you meet them where they're at, especially if your audience is old
