Change is inevitable...
HHH should thank Shane every night before he goes to bed for having a falling out with Vince
He probably sold it to Vince like he did with dx. Shane was the truthand I'm sure in a shoot Vince Russo claimed to of invented goldust ( could be wrong though)
what's the story with dx?He probably sold it to Vince like he did with dx. Shane was the truth
what's the story with dx?
I remembered it wrong , Vince didn't want to bring in chyna to wwe . And Shane. Explained how she'd be a heat magnet seeing a woman beat up men
Hhh is a confusing dude. One any kid watching this DVD will think he was Rock Austin level when that's not true. The guy seems to care about the business and has a good head for it but then I look at his history of being unstoppable when the crowd was tired of him and I can't see how that was good for business . I mean is it Just a odd coincidence that hhh going over was always best for business , I mean really ??? Any smart fan would be like ehh the guy was in the clique , friends with Vince and dating the boss daughter they should of tonned down all the buryingI just watched the Triple H doc two days ago I shoulda knew what you were talking about.

Shane McMahon was described as someone who since his teenage years believed, as the oldest child, that it was his birthright to run the company, continuing a lineage of McMahons that dates back to Jess McMahon, a boxing matchmaker for Madison Square Garden and an area wrestling promoter from the 1920s into the early 1950s. Shane started as a member of the ring crew, working with the likes of the late Joey Marella (Gorilla Monsoon’s son who was better known as a referee), Mike Chioda (a current ref) and Tony Chimel (now the Smackdown ring announcer). He also worked as a referee under another name when he was younger.
It had become obvious that if Vince McMahon ever stepped down, or passed away, that the succession would be younger sister Stephanie as Chairman and CEO of the company, and that while Shane would have a major title, the people running the company would be Stephanie and husband Paul “HHH” Levesque. The feeling on the future is Stephanie would run the company, and Levesque would be the head of Talent Relations and have the biggest input on the wrestling product. The irony is that while there the jury is completely out as to their ability, and the viability of pro wrestling long-term, that a Levesque run wrestling company would change from a company where the wrestling is a backdrop for vignettes and comedy, and where the vignettes and comedy would be a minor backdrop in between the wrestling. The belief is with Levesque in charge that Undertaker and Shawn Michaels would probably also have significant input into product direction. It’s noted that Michaels and HHH have changed a lot of what has been written for them in their recent DX roles, and have disagreed with a lot of creative. We’re told that most of the changes have seemed, at least on paper, for the better.
Virtually everyone working there would talk of Shane and Linda as nice people and good to work for, while Vince and Stephanie were not “people- persons,” may have been just as effective if not more as far as getting people to work hard, but it was motivation by fear and ultimately led to a lack of loyalty to much besides a paycheck. My own thought is that the younger Vince may have been more similar to Shane, although obviously with a far more creative vision, but the years have hardened him
Stephanie was also described as weak in people skills, but that she was the more intelligent of the two siblings, which is why she passed him up years ago. I can recall, many years ago, when business started falling, one person in a discussion with both at the time the company made massive layoffs, noting that Shane was gung-ho on building the business back up so they could hire the people back, while Stephanie’s reaction was that if they could build the business up with the staff numbers and members they had, that would be proof there was no need to hire those people back. It was described as where you could see the difference between the two and when it came to running a company, showed Stephanie understood the big picture better.
It’s noted that Levesque, who shares Vince’s love for bodybuilding and obsession with pro wrestling, has become more like Vince’s son. The Levesques live in Westport, far closer to Vince’s many residences, while Shane resides in Manhattan
