No. They would never shelve rihanna. They don't do that to big stars like her, only new comers and people with less fans. She can make money even if the album is garbage.

Singles are shyt. Which is very unlike Rihanna. They pushing it back until she gets a hit since her singles are what sells her albums.

I don't think they're doing that. They can't do that because they already announced the tour. She has to release between now and the tour dates. I don't think she will have a lead single.

She tried to move outside of the safe watered down, Dance-Pop into something harder and noone (white people) wanted to hear it

Rihanna started off in rnb, regage pop, then got edgier rock, then more urban sounding (pour it up & cake) and adult contemporary with diamonds. She is always tweaking her sound and that has never been a problem for her. Lots of her singles outside of edmdancepop have been platinum. She hasn't done that style since 2010 11 when it was popular.
