Man I loved NFL 2k. I have never owned a game of madden and don't plan to. I am more of a NBA fan, but ever since Dreamcast I just liked the feel of the 2k sports games. They just felt more realistic to me. I hope sometime in the future we get another NFL 2k...

That was some bull when the NFL only agreed to have Madden use their players likeness in games. They knew that 2k was coming for that throne though. Just like NBA 2k took over Live's fanbase.

I'm one of the most avid 2k fans out there. I haven't bought a madden game since madden 06' and I will not until they either fix the fukking engine. All pro football 2k8 was the last game they made and I played that hours upon hours. But that too is now offline (way overdue) and I'm grateful for that. 2k/Take2 don't seem to care about anything except the nfl license. To this day, they haven't released an official statement on 2k5 or the lack of another all pro game which many in the community would want to have fully customizable options for editing players and logos, similar to backbreakers system ( only the custom options, not gameplay). All we know right now is that Ea sports "lost" it's NCAA license and it expires in 2014. The NFL license is still in effect till 2014 as well if im not mistaken and will most likely be renewed. We're hoping that it won't of courseFU /c I'd like to have it like it was before with sports video games, several fukking options. Would like to see a remake of gameday, qb club, maybe fever and of course the 2k. I shutter every time I think of how amazing nfl 2k would have been right now......but of course EA knew this way back in 2005 and that's why Madden is the only game out....fukking fakkits

That game was soooo freaking raw.

I heard the company that carries madden sabotaged NFL2K.

That shyt had better graphics than madden by far!!

I stopped playing madden since i played NFL2K5 with on the cover.

that game was $20 dollars, and about 10X better than hoe as madden.

I still play All Pro.

Real talk: NFL2K was to madden what NBA 2k is to NBA live.

i like madden 04 over 2k4, franchise was much better imo, and game played better wit better grapics, but i wish they still was making games, i probably wouldnt buy it cause the online would be trash like nba2k games the past 7-8 years

EA bought the license to make NFL Only games

EA didn't buy the license. The NFL put the license up for bid because they didn't want to have to deal with multiple publishers. EA just happened to be able to afford the license. It was the NFL's idea.
