I was hype as fukk when he eliminated to Taker from the rumble, the original Tough Enough reality show was a big deal.

the truth is he never got any better or felt the drive to get any better, then he developed a pain pill addiction which didn't help that non existent drive. dude was damn near a cautionary tale according to himself. very close to dying from that shyt.

I've never even seen Essa Rios IRL, I only saw him in SD on PS1 when Lita was his manager. Dude is like the Sheng Long of rasslin to me.
