What game or series did you buy on a whim and fell in love with?

Shadow of Mordor. I just got a PS4 and was looking to fatten up my library. Saw the game was on sale and I bought a GOTY edition.

I liked it so much that I pre-ordered the steelbook edition of Shadow of War.

God of War. I bought the remaster for the PS3 before 3 came out.

i bought tomb raider 2013 during the first few weeks of covid and have replayed it 5 times ... it the right mix of action and horror that not present anywhere else in the series ... i do like the other two reboot games but not as much.

Mass Effect. Bought on a limp back when it had zero buzz and dirt cheap. I put 12 playthrough in that game
