People on here are confusing most memorable with, best overall soundtrack.

Donkey Kong, Mega Man, Zelda, etc, all have that one catchy theme, but the rest of the soundtrack isn't as spectacular.

For me the best Soundtrack growing up, was the Killer Instinct one.

Then there's the GOAT; Third Strike. They even had a song for the character select.

If you asked anyone who played the game, they're gonna give you the same answer....the underwater stage. Just because you know the entire soundtrack doesn't mean it had any memorable tracks to the general populous. It's not like the Sonic series.
