i'm not a fan of downloading games, but why would the game companies give a damn what the retailers think. All they are is a bunch of middle men. If consumers are willing to download the games directly, they'd prob see a larger profit.

You don't like buying physical games either?
It will be standard eventually in the future,
But as of now I prefer to buy the hard copy.

Id like to see the ultimate dev tool that makes creating epic games easy to hopefully drive down production costs allowing devs to take more risks

I like playing video games. not collecting plastic boxes and discs. for that matter I already have 1000's of fukking discs. they're all in the same box they were in when I put them in storage a few years ago

this thread is about what we want for the next gen consoles. I think it's already been settled that the next gen will still be using discs, and I have no delusions about that

the specific claim that I responded to was that "no discs" "would be horrible for the consumer"
