What exactly went wrong with the Styles/Nakamura feud from 2018?

Matches were solid (sans certain finishes), but forgettable overall. Feud build-up was wack.

I feel this has been a constant thing with AJ and talent we hope they would put out classics with. KO, Joe, Naka, and DB.

The Joe feud was the only notable one, and it came about during SS.

Yeah if we’re keeping it funky, Styles hasn’t had a hot match since the Shane match 2 years ago. Which is to be expected since Shane is the BITW afterall

Wrong person was heel and Vince sabotage every match. The pace was dreadful outside of the last 5 minutes. They wouldn't let them have a classic match.

Last man standing match was straight fire. Usually those matches suck but that one was great. The rest of the fued was underwhelming
