D'Lo Brown got over with the European title. I like lower-tier titles because, in the right hands, it can bring a lot of character out of someone. I gave NO fukks about D'Lo Brown, but then he got that European title and the chest protector and I was like "Dude's kind of dope"...and then seeing X-Pac win and get a run made it even better.

Remember when Kurt Angle came on the scene and won the European title AND the Intercontinental title? I think I also remember back when Shawn gave HHH the European title and there was heat around there. Good stuff...




Get this: The last American United States Champion that we've had in a long time was the All-American American.

WCW did the TV title well. Especially when Benoit and Booker T were fighting for it. Its a great midcard belt to elevate someone if used right.

Yep; NWA/WCW alwasy utilized the TV title perfectly. they made it into a belt that everybody wanted. I still remember Dusty Rhodes and Tully Blanchard beating the living hell out of each other for months over that belt. they even first blood TV title matches and shyt. And that Booker T/Rick Martel feud over the TV belt in WCW was very underrated.
TNA fukked up by letting Devon hold the belt for so long but with Samoa Joe as the new champ things should pick up.
