From my experience....lot of black immigrants look down on us "American Blacks", yet come here and do the same shyt we do, That supposed to be met with an open embrace?

My thing is if they have a problem with black Americans would they also not have a problem with other black ethnic groups? If so that just means they are insular and xenophobic not that they have a problems specifically with black Americans. This just sounds like main character syndrome on both sides

To a degree....but because so many of them to casual eyes would be considered "american blacks" they have like an accelerated animus to prove that wrong at the expense of FBA/ADOS. I get why they do it....but it don't make it right. It's both sides shyt....i've seen some niccas from the states hate on Nigerians just cuz they Naija. It's complicated...

nah they KNOW bro they just don’t acknowledge them. My Jamaican breh told me he doesn’t consider any American born Caribbean an Islander any more they are Yankee to them but he don’t group them up with black Americans because he knows they have a separate history and culture. Which I can kinda understand I’ve heard the same thing from a few Asian ethnic groups. My boy from Taiwan said the same thing if your parents speak mandarin and you can’t you basically a foreigner to him. Trust people know the difference

Thats super facts. My pops was born in Grenada, and i have cousins who say "i'm not of their culture" cuz I was born in America. That happens across the diaspora. While i get the sentiment, i don't understand the logic, cuz my curry any protein will shyt on theirs.

I’ve cut off a lot of friends and family by how they mistreat their house girls and boys. Part of the reason why our countries are in the state they are in is that many of the elites don’t see the humanity in those that they see as lower class (along with misogyny limiting opportunities for women). I literally caught a lot of The security guards in a house maids at the compound I stay at off guard because I talk to them like theyre full human beings worthy of respect.

Class issues are major and many who come here carry that baggage.
