AT&T Prepaid - $55/month unlimited everything

thinking about downgrading to the $40/month plan because I'm not sure how much I need unlimited data.

I was considering moving up...but I mostly use data @ home when I’m connected to wifi and sparingly when I’m out and about...so it wasn’t worth it...plus they just throttle your speeds once you go past a certain amount...it’s not like you lose total access to data

Yeah ima monitor my data use for this month and I’ll downgrade next month. The crazy part about iPhones is they show the data for a period but never reset the period smh

I think you can reset it on your own...lemme check

there’s a ‘reset statistics’ option but I never hit it cuz I’m afraid it’ll reset all the cellular info lol

My shyt was like $554 last bill.

I have like 5 lines unlimited everything because that 15 GB of data Verizon was originally offering wasnt enough I was using up nearly all that by myself.

I have a phone
Wife has a phone
Wife has a business phone
Oldest son has a phone
My youngest son has an iPad that works on data, so he doesnt have to stay on wifi and we dont have to hotspot our phones for him to have data.

We also have newer phones being financed through our phone plan as well

This shyt is highway robbery.

how much of that is hotspot sharing usage?

i'm not a stranger to heavy bandwidth consumption but not on my phone.
Maybe half of last months was hotspot/tether usage because I was out of town on business. Everything else is normal usage.

Some of yall brehs really need to get with the times and ditch these expensive phone plans, grab an unlocked phone for the low, and invest all the money you are saving or build up an emergency fund for if/when this recession hits.
