What does the Coli think of Post Malones "Rockstar" song before it takes over and hits number one?

Lmao...and y'all wanna have tantrums about Culture vultures failing to realize it's just a PRODUCT controlled by BUSINESSMEN since the first barcode was placed on a Sugarhill Record

Money jumping like I’m Davis from New Orleans or bytch I’m Harden I don’t miss nothing :wow:

He’ll never top White Iverson. He’ll be another Macklemore aka up outta here in 2 years.

This song is bigger than "white iverson". The thing about post is that he's actually a good songwriter.

Of course I have no definite proof, only speculation, but I do have a story.

I was the first person to upload white iverson and another song he made with producer FKi to YouTube.

Dude literally came out of nowhere, I heard him from browsing SoundCloud and I liked the song and uploaded it to YouTube because I had a channel where I uploaded music on that had a few thousand subscribers.

I messaged him if it was cool and he said yea, then the next day or so I see this complex article,
Post Malone's "White Iverson" Might Be One of the Hardest Songs to Drop This Year, So Far and it said that dude had only 400 followers and 2 songs posted on SoundCloud. I thought that was weird, especially to get multiple articles dedicated to you from other big music blogs so soon, when he only had 2 songs under 25k plays at the time.

Anyway, it hit a million views within a week and even more on SoundCloud, then he posted the song on his YouTube channel and got my channel deleted with a copyright strike, even though he allowed it, but I guess I was fukking up his money so :yeshrug:

TL;DR - Post Malone was getting articles dedicated to him on big music blogs before he hit 25k total SoundCloud plays and 3 songs on his profile. He’s also been talked about in various articles about possibly being a plant from the same blogs

he was signed to lyor cohen's son or he managed him or something.

this guy: AZ (@Az_Cohen) on Twitter

he's a known and obvious plant.

some of his songs are fire, though. he's been upfront about not staying in hip-hop forever and has acknowledged the old videos of him playing guitar and his covers and stupid music videos. so he's not really ducking the accusations.

he's here to stay, at least for a while. his album is still doing numbers somehow.
