to me this is Spike's most underrated flick.

a lot of people find the movie slow/boring and I admit I gotta be in a certain mood to watch it. but I just love the overall look/mood of the movie and the dialogue.

this scene right here perfectly represents the dilemma a lot of black "artists" face

and Cynda Williams :noah:

Really dope flick G. Definitely shows the chaotic dynamic of a man being forced to confront his rival passions in the forms of his career and love life. The ending scenes were some circle of life type of levels of "monumentalness".

To much ether when he had to share his girl with Shadow

Great flick. I think it was probably the 1st Spike Lee movie I ever saw back in the mid 90s. I was still a kid back then.

Its a good movie but it is kinda slow. Its one of those movies where u need to pay attention to get into it. If ur doing something else or ur mind is elsewhere u probably wont enjoy it as much.

Good flick.. I'm a huge jazz fanatic so I enjoyed it. Bought the soundtrack to it as well. it has a few plot holes though. I haven't watched it in years and I've probably seen it about 6-7 times. I need to re-watch it

I need to watch it again myself. I've only seen it about 3 times and the last time was a couple of years ago.

Denzel and Wesley in the same movie, black star power everywhere

We really took the 90's for granted :sadcam:
