I've already addressed this lmao

So you think Jordan's numbers would be less than Harden's since he went to Houston?

Is Jordan even an all star in the zone defense era?
i said i don't know
i'm being real while folk is projecting off imagination
maybe jordan would be derozan or wiggins¿

See this is the rose colored glasses with MJ i cant get, MJ is my favorite player of all time. But MJ has been cooked by people before, was he a great defender? Yes he was, but he was cooked by people like Shariff Abdul Rahim and didnt always guard the best player either, Pippen did that at least about 50% of the time. But it dont get called being scared etc with MJ (IMO it's not) smh.

Name a 2 guard MJ didn't guard? I'll wait.....PG and Bron play the same position. Citing the time a 6'9" power forward got the best of MJ is weak. The fact MJ guarded Rahim speaks to my point even more. MJ even took the challenge of guarding a 6'9" power forward. Bron hid on Lance down the stretch.

Better low post game

Better handles especially going left

(All Jordan had was that fade away. Bron plays bully ball down there. Wash)

Better mid range jump shot
(I agree here.)

Better heart and not a crying whining bytch
(Call a man who came back from a 3-1 deficit and won against the best statistical team in the HISTORY of the league heartless, brehs.)

Never ran from team to team to join up with other top players
(He didn't have to. Those bulls teams were loaded and you know it.)

6 out of 6 where it really matters
(Refer back to the loaded teams. The Bulls were always the favorites in the finals and always had the best team in the league. The Mavs series was bad, but he's been to six straight finals and probably his seventh this year.)

Better shoes and had a better cut
(Eh, after the 14s the Jordan series are trash.)

do ya googles on how mj was campaigning against the zone in 01
he said out his own mouth he would have a harder time finishing plays and his career would be different if the zone was made legal

and on the other hand you could just imagine what bulldozer bronbron would do 1v1 with the illegal defense rules in place

:troll:but it's all just imagination we'll never really know

Please stop with this nonsense. MJ played 3 years in college. He saw zone defenses before. Here's a montage of MJ against zone during his career. This myth that MJ didn't see zone or wouldn't thrive against a zone is fugazi.

Jordan took 7 years to win his first title. Bron took 9.

In Jordan's era you didn't have free agency after 3 or 4 years so you couldn't build a super team with a bunch of buddy all star players. You had to build a team through the draft and grow together. No excuse why it took Bron 2 more years than Jordan.

Jordan didn't even grow up with the 3 point line

He would've shot a much better percentage if he played in this era

Maybe, maybe not. Point is Bron is better. There are things from Jordan's time that would benefit Bron (no zone, faster pace, more physicality allowed) but you don't see me trying to use them as pleas for Bron being the inferior scorer or overall player now do you? Bron is better than Mike at something :lupe:.

This is like saying that Drake is a better rapper than Kendrick because he sells more records.
Have you ever seen MJ defend?

His...in-game awareness is GOD LEVEL. I say that as someone who isn't on the "MJ IS DA GOAT OF GOATS" train.

Michael's defensive awareness is simply otherworldly. He is both a better on-ball defender (MJ was ferocious) and MUCH better at shooting the passing lanes than Bron (which is why he averaged much more steals). He almost never overplayed for the shot, he NEVER took plays off, and he was ALWAYS in the right spot giving 100% effort.

He also had maybe the absolute strongest pair of hands of any guard ever. He routinely was ripping the ball away from centers and power forwards with ease (and these are 80's and 90's PF's who were only there to start fights and foul people).

The one thing that Bron IS absolutely better at is being a rim protector. But since he can't be BOTH your best perimeter defender AND protect the rim it doesn't matter much.

One thing Bron will NEVER have is Jordan's motor. He was 100% every game, every play. Bron has shown that he doesn't have it in him to go 100 for an entire series without it affecting both his defense and his jumpshot. We saw that in 2015. This isnt really a knock against Bron as really no other player ever has had Jordan's level of intensity.

Jordan could guard his ass off, grab 8 boards, take every shot (and get fouled 20 times), lead the offense, and take the shot with the game on the line and more than likely sink it. Then go out and drink and smoke cigars and see you again the next night.

82 times, and then for every single playoff game in the run. Bron would fall over and die of exhaustion.
