how?:what:

The music they make(or the music Wayne used to make) isn't similar, if that was the case then you're better off saying 'Future took Wayne's lane'.

He's talking about post-carter 3 codeined out his mind mumbling through autotune wayne.

Explain how you can over Saturate?

And what Jay did would have been considered over saturation I his era

It's only a bit much if the music sucks
Nah rihanna just did what jay did for a while in this era

I hate to keep bringing him up but future will be a great litmus test. Dude's output the past year makes currensy look like jay electronica. Let's see how long he remains popular.

Rap fans are fickle

As far as quality, ditch the auto tune and mature his content. nikka has one of the most interesting lives and dynamic careers we've seen but keep talking about p*ssy. Talk about shooting yourself at 12. Talk about your seizure/coma. Talk about the bad bytches you laid but never stuck with and why. Talk about how you felt/feel about the elder Mr. Carter. Talk about why you stayed with the same team like Tim Duncan. Wayne's skills never vanished he just became super super predictable.

As far a quantity, Wayne does not need to revert to the pre-C3 days drop a tape every other month. He does need to start picking interesting features and kill his feature verses though.

Future decline in popularity won't be due to him dropping a lot of music right now

His decline will be due to a decrease in quality

Wayne falling off is a myth. That hollygrove to Hollywood song shyts on everything on c3 lyrically, and the voice thing doesn't wash with me either, Wayne's voice has always been annoying. Ppl just got tired of him.

I swear Lil Wayne is playskool "my first lyricist" like Cassidy. Those lines are throwaway status and he uses too many common "first thought" similes. Most of those lines were spit by battle rappers in a more clever way.

I hear you. But what sticks out tho?

When I think of Lil' Wayne raps, I think of psychological metaphors & similes. I don't immediately think for the simple shyt

1. Wasnt all of that the original plan for the Carter 5?

I doubt it'll work now because, with the 15 million he owes uncle sam, no one will believe that he's actually going to retire.

2. I still think the best way to restore wayne's relevance is strategically flooding the streets with a ton of projects.

A). A tape fully produced by Mannie Fresh.
B). A full EP Collaboration with Curren$y.
C) A Mixtape fully produced by the Alchemist.
D) A dirty south tape fully produced by Big K.R.I.T
E) A return to his Drought Series of tapes.
F) Regularly Dropping freestyles over songs while the songs are still relevant rather than waiting a year.

3. He needs to start rapping about anything other than p*ssy. Especially in the nasaly high pitched animaniacs voice he's so keen on.

4. He needs to start acting like an industry veteran or an OG. Wayne is a grown ass man with a sizeable legacy as one of the most influential rappers of his generation. He shouldn't be dressing like a hopsin stan. He shouldn't be rocking skateboards on the red carpet. He shouldn't be getting punked by young thug.

No. I don't know. I don't work for Universal or YMCMB

You just want mixtape Wayne back...Let it go breh

He shouldn't go toe to toe with Future and Thugga

He's already done that ...and fed the streets enough

Your route will mean turning into Ross level saturation

He needs a blockbuster fairwell album with high profile features and lots of radioplay
...maybe tie it to a cause like drugs/seizures etc

Then take a couple years off.... and randomly drop an album

But why?

How is Wayne in this dire need of attention? I don't get it

Wayne's done. he has no following. It's over.

no such thing as oversaturation? just as no such thing as a classic album? :mjlol:

Breh, do you even listen to music? You say the weirdest shyt sometimes.

Music, like all creative arts, is about being fresh. If I overfeed you, the music/food's gonna get boring, especially if it wasn't that deep/flavorful to begin with. How is this not obvious? :dahell:

You dont be outside :mjlol:
